Zooey Deschanel photoshop fail in the latest issue of InStyle magazine has many laughing. The picture of Zooey Deschanel used on the cover of the August issue of the fashion mag has been photoshoped beyond the point of recognition. Her eyes, jaws and chin have been drastically modified for her to look like Jared Leto’s transgender character Rayon in Dallas Buyers Club. Inside the mag she tackles serious matters like being bullied, getting spit on and motherhood.
Zooey Deschanel epic photoshop fail has gone viral. Good Girl actress Zooey Deschanel graces the cover of InStyle magazine’s August 2014 issue wearing a purple and yellow 1960’s dress.
But no one is looking at her outfit, since Deschanel shared the photo on Instagram, all the focus has been on her face.
The cover has been heavily photoshoped. The Failure to Launch star’s jaws are more accentuated, her chin is longer, her cheeks look fuller and her eyes are no longer blue.
Her fans have been wondering who did that? And why did they photoshop her to make her look like Rayon – the colorful character played by Oscar winning actor Jared Leto in Dallas Buyers Club?
While her supporters are slamming the mag for the unrealistic image, Zooey Deschanel does not seem bothered by the hoopla.
The Sweet Friggin’ Daisies star shared a link to cover via her Twitter last night with the caption “hooray!”
Inside the magazine, she revealed that she was bullied in school and her tormentor went as far as spitting on her.
She said that the verbal and physical abuse made her stronger and prepared her adulthood.
Zooey Deschanel who attended the Crossroads School in Santa Monica said:
”Seventh grade was the ultimate low rock bottom – someone spitting in your face while you are on your way to your locker. Having to fight your way through those years makes you ready for the future. I can snap back, I can make fun of myself before they do- I can do all of it.”
The “Place We Ran From” singer who divorced Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard in 2012 shared that when she was in a relationship everyone wanted to know when would she become a mother and she hated that. She explained:
“When I was married, that was the first thing people wanted to know.Like every woman is dying to give birth! I don’t think so. Nobody asks a guy that. And you go into a supermarket and every tabloid is like, ‘Pregnant and Alone!’ Stuck in this 1950s ideal of how a woman should live her life. That’s not something that defines me at all.'”
The writer also talked fashion with the magazine saying that she wears what she likes and is not obsessed with brand names.
