Jeffrey Epstein has gone viral for the wrong reason. A strange incident took place at a Florida airport recently. It had a lot to do with reaching late for a flight and race somehow became a factor.
The 59-year-old man was in the process of being arrested by authorities for causing a disturbance on a flight, but he did not want to go down without a fight.
The man, who claimed to be a doctor, stated that black people are right to not trust American police if they are capable of doing something like this to a white man.
He then added that he is actually a supporter of President Donald Trump, but apparently still agreed with the views that have recently been expressed by some black communities regarding police brutality and the attitude of the justice system towards them.
Epstein continued to act in a disturbing manner and ended up causing a great deal of trouble for passengers on the flight who were just trying to get to their destination.
In the end, he yelled out “you’re treating me like a f***ing black person,” casting some doubts on his statements that he agrees with the black community.
Officers eventually managed to bring the situation under control with the help of pepper spray, and reportedly also found a small amount of cannabis on Epstein’s person during the arrest.
It is not clear if that is what provoked his unusual response to the attempt to bring him in or if he had other issues, but journalists will likely find out more about the situation in some time after things have calmed down a little.
For now, no new reports have come out clarifying the incident. Epstein arrived at the Orlando International Airport at 6 a.m. for a 6:24 a.m. flight.
An American Airlines employee told him that he had arrived too late and that was the beginning of the incident that went on to grab national headlines.
