Two boys planned shooting in California school. The 2 teen boys who planned a mass shooting at South Pasadena High School have been arrested. The boys aged 16 and 17 were apprehended by police after school officials received an anonymous tip about the shooting from a member of the community. The two boys planned to shoot 3 teachers who gave them bad grades and as many students as possible.
Authorities have arrested two boys who planned a mass shooting a la Sandy Hook and Columbine at South Pasadena High School in California.
The teenagers were apprehended after a member of the community (rumors say it was another student who reported the potential murderers) contacted the school’s officials and warned them about the planned massacre.
On Tuesday morning, the police chief of South Pasadena Sgt. Brian Solinsky held a press conference to share some details about the shocking story.
One of the boys is 16 years of age while the other is 17. Staff members of South Pasadena High School were contacted on Thursday by an unnamed person who explained that the friends had plans to commit the crime very soon.
Officials immediately called the cops who started monitoring the duo 24/7. After gathering enough evidence, the young men were arrested on Monday – one went willingly while the other fought with the officers.
It appears that the parents were clueless on their children’s disturbing activities. The computers, laptops and phones taken from the homes revealed some chilling things.
The teens who were fanatics of Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold spent hours chatting about the killings.
They had been doing a lot of research on the internet on how to fire guns, how to make bombs, how to use propane tanks and explosives.
No weapons were found in the homes, but one of the criminals did say that he had a family with a gun and had plans to steal it.
According to Solinsky, they found documents with the names of three teachers and two students whom they had problems with and they wanted to murder.
After eliminating those five people, they would go on to eliminate as many students as possible to make it in the history books.
The police are being applauded for catching the two boys who planned the mass shooting.
