Tobey Maguire’s $10.25 million home is up for grabs and the actor’s net worth may soon go up. Spiderman star Tobey Maguire and his wife, Jennifer Meyer, have listed their newly-purchased 6,320-square-feet home located in California for $10.25 million.
Tobey Maguire and his wife, Jennifer Meyer, are hoping to make a quick million profit on their new home. In January of 2014, Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer snatched a stunning mansion belonging to talk show host Ricki Lake.
The home, which is located in Carmelina Drive in Brentwood, was sold for $8.75 million. Lake purchased the house in 2002 from Friends actress Courteney Cox for $5.6 million.
It is claimed that Lake loved the property, but she was eager to sell it after her talk show The Ricki Lake Show was cancelled. Celebrity house flippers-in-the-making Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer, seized the opportunity to become owners of the stunning property, which was originally built in 1949.
Tobey Maguire’s residence is described as a plantation-style 5,226-square-foot main house, has five bedrooms and 5.5 baths. The two-story house features formal living and dining rooms on the first floor. While the second floor has a guest suite with a private entrance and terrace, a large swimming pool and spa perfect for the hot Californian summer.
According to Variety, the couple has spent a small fortune on numerous renovations to give it a modern feel. The living room offers:
