Yet another horrifying murder has stunned Bronx residents, and this time the incident was actually caught on camera.
The video shows a group of thugs pulling 15-year-old Lesandro Guzman-Feliz out of a bodega and hacking at him with a machete, then running away and leaving him to bleed to death on the street.
The boy actually managed to get up and move away from the scene, but he died shortly after — just before reaching the local hospital, in fact.
Nobody seems sure why the attack took place exactly, but there is speculation that it could have been a case of mistaken identity although authorities say the suspects knew the victim.
The boy was reportedly not involved in any criminal activities, while those who stabbed him to death were gang members. He was described as a good student and brother, leaving many stunned by the fact that his life was taken away in such a violent and graphic manner.
Police investigations reportedly continue, although not much progress seems to have been made.
In the meantime, it seems like some residents of the Bronx are mostly indifferent to the incident, claiming that such things happen practically on a daily basis in the area and one has to just keep their head down and be careful about their own affairs.

Some celebrities have tried to bring attention to the situation. The murder has caused quite the stir in online communities, and many are sympathizing with the family of the killed boy.
Rap music sensation Cardi B is the first big name who tried to bring awareness to the case by pushing a fundraiser and asking for justice. Power actress La La Anthony also posted a touching tribute to the slain teen.
It remains to be seen if anything will come out as a result of the investigation at this point.
Some gang members have apologized for the horrific incident.
