Tamron Hall has left NBC News in January, and she is getting ready to embrace the next big step in her career.
The journalist exited the network after ten years of collaboration to make way for the star recruit that is Megyn Kelly.
Mrs. Kelly is a 46-year-old journalist who spent over 12 years working on the right-leaning cable news network, Fox News Channel.
She became a huge television star after taking on then-candidate Donald Trump over his past treatment of women.
The 45th U.S. president has spent months ridiculing Kelly as a “bimbo” and a biased reporter. Kelly, a mother of three, refused to take the bait and remained professional through it all.
This was the right move because when her contract ended with Fox News, stations everywhere wanted to hire her.
Her former employer even offered a 4-year contract worth close 100 million dollars to stay there. That was not enough to convince her.
In recent interviews, the Settle for More author explained that she wanted to spend more time with her young children. That is why she accepted less money with NBC News.
The move to NBC created a lot of chaos there. Al Roker and Hall, who were hosting the fourth hour of the Today show, became collateral damage in the process.
Hall wanted to remain a significant player in the television news landscape, so she left without saying goodbye to those who watched her for years.
The Texas native has been very active on social media and takes time out of her schedule to answer fans.
According to close sources, Hall will soon be announcing some big news for her career. However, it is not clear when this announcement will be made.
In the meantime, Hall is filming the fifth season of Deadline Crime for the Investigation Discovery.
Kelly might be the bigger star, but Hall has a loyal following.
