Stephanie Jacobsen NCIS role sounds very appealing. Jacobsen has signed on to star on CBS’ “NCIS” where she will play Tony DiNozzo’s (Michael Weatherly) partner in crime and love interest. Miss Jacobsen will take on the role of Leia Pendergast, a sexy and hard hitting FBI Special Agent who will help DiNozzo get over Ziva David portrayed by Cote de Pablo.
Stephanie Jacobsen has landed a role on NCIS and her fans could not be happier.
According to multiple sources Jacobsen will be spicing up things a bit for Tony DiNozzo (played by actor Michael Weatherly) whose love life came crashing down after Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) abruptly left the hit series about one year ago.
The Hong Kong-born Australian actress who used to play a prostitute and med student on “Melrose Place” has signed on for at least one episode on NCIS but it could become a recurring role if she delivers on ratings or is loved by fans.
The 34-year-old actress will be portraying Leia Pendergrast, a hot and straight talking FBI Special Agent who temporally joins the fictional team of Naval Criminal Investigative Service to investigate a terrorist threat made on American soil.
Miss Pendergrast is single, outgoing, funny and a real fighter, we have seen Jacobsen with a sword and deliver some epic fight scenes on “Revenge” and “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles,” so “NCIS” should be a walk in the park for her.
As for Pendergrast’s background, she is a former U.S. Marshal who decided for personal reasons to join the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force.
According to “NCIS” writer Gary Glasberg, he came up with the female character because it is time for DiNozzo to mend his broken heart and accept Ziva’s departure.
The relation between Pendergrast and DiNozzo will be mature because Tony has grown since the emotional split.
Weatherly is said to be very happy to be working with the Home and Away actress and is trilled to have a leading lady again.
Catch Stephanie Jacobsen and Emily Wickersham on Season 12 of the CBS hit series premiering on Tuesday, September 23.
