A Sofia Vergara wedding date has been revealed, and it looks like the ceremony will be a big affair.
Joe Manganiello and Sofia Vergara’s wedding is set for November 22, according to a new report from Us Weekly. The 43-year-old Modern Family actress and the Magic Mike star started dating in 2014.
Manganiello, 38, proposed on Christmas Day during a trip to Hawaii. The engagement took place about five months after the power couple made their relationship official. Vergara, a mother of one, was previously engaged to Nick Loeb, a businessman from Florida. Loeb has since decided to take her to court over the future of two embryos that were frozen when they were together.
Vergara’s wedding will take place in Florida at the Breakers Palm Beach resort. The popular and luxurious venue can hold up to 800 guests. The two actors plan to invite many people including some of their very famous friends. A source spoke to the publication and said:
“They want all their friends and family there. It’ll be the most fun wedding ever!”
Reese Witherspoon and Channing Tatum are expected to be present on the big day. The cast of Vergara’s hit comedy will probably be there too. Last month, the Hot Pursuit star explained why L.A. was never an option for the ceremony. The Colombian diva told Entertainment Tonight:
“I want all the people from Columbia and South America and from Europe to be able to make it to the wedding and Los Angeles is very far away from everything.”
She also shared that in Latin America, bachelorette parties are not part of the culture, so she will not be having one. Vergara said:
“In Latin America we don’t do bachelorette parties. I’m not doing a bachelorette party.”
The honey blonde bombshell was married to Joe Gonzalez from 1991–93, he is the father of her son, Manolo, who is 22. This will be the first marriage for Manganiello.
