“The motive has yet to be determined. There’s going to be 100,000 whys. We might not ever know why this child acted out like this.”
Should the parents be blamed?
Oh man, what has happened to this once nice and comfortable planet? What has happened to people that they have become so insensitive and ignorant? Life obviously has no value anymore. What a sad, sad story…..
Ynnis – the world has always been like this, it is just now you see and hear it instantly on the internet! There is way more good done daily than evil/negative/criminal activity. It’s just that people like you and me aren’t interested in reading about that on the internet, we are morbidly curious, like almost all humans (imo) and these websites cater to the clicks – they follow the ad revenue and they know that these stories get lots of clicks. And kitten and puppy stories too. Relax and step off the panic switch, the world is fine. Same as it ever was, just more coverage.
And there is something going on in that family – childhood abuse is a terrible thing!
Whatever the world is or is not, these girls obvious have been through some suffering. Traumatized is all over their faces. I serious doubt that any violence would have been conceived if their big brother had not been repeatedly hurting them. What is really sad is that they felt killing was the only way out and now they will face the consequences of taking their freedom into their own hands. Their life is forever changed by this. I hope the finally outcome is that the parents and their lack of supervision takes the main spotlight and that the parents get the biggest sentence. I’m sure if the girls felt there was another answer to the problem, they would have taken that way out instead of killing. At their age, they don’t exactly have experience and wisdom on their side. They needed attentive parents!!
