Singer Jeremih‘s airport arrest occurred on Friday. While it is possible to ask the driver of a bus to wait few seconds for a passenger, who is running late, singer Jeremih discovered that you can not ask a pilot to do the same.
According to several media outlets, the silly Jeremih airport arrest took place around 1:35 p.m. in New Jersey. For some unknown reason, the “Birthday Sex” singer arrived late at Newark Liberty International Airport where he was supposed to board a US Air flight to Phoenix, Arizona.
Jeremih whose real name is Jeremy Felton has some really good friends who were able to board the flight and made the foolish decision to try to stall the plane.
Jeremih’s entourage held the plane door opened in order for the singer and another man who missed the last boarding call to get in. Several police officers were called to the scene where Jeremih and two of his band members, Adam Woods, 27, and Dontate Cunningham, 26, were arrested.
Woods and Jeremih were charged with obstruction and disorderly conduct, while Cunningham who attempted to sneak on the plane was charged with defiant trespass.
The three friends posted bail and have been released. This is the second time this month that Jeremih has had a run-in with the law.
On December 2nd, Montana police applied for an arrest warrant for the singer and one of his friends following a fight at a Fuddruckers located in Billings. A video surfaced showing Jeremih and his crew brawling, throwing bottles at Fuddruckers staff members.
Jeremih and his pals claimed that one of the employees used racial slurs against them. While the employees stated that they asked Jeremih and his friends to move to the back of the restaurant because they made a female staff member feel uncomfortable.
