Are Shailene Woodley and Ellen Page dating in a lesbian relationship? In a pairing made in heaven for fans of young adult movies, Divergent actress Shailene Woodley who is 22 is said to be dating Juno star Ellen Page who is 27.
The pair that has been photographed together sporadically in recent months is rumored to be in a relationship. According to OK Magazine that broke the rumor, the two ladies have known each other for years but the nature of their relationship changed in March after Page came out as gay.
The gossip publication offers no concrete evidence supporting their theory, except for the following, according to one of their sources:
“Ellen really leaned on Shailene through the coming out process.”
If this seems a little thin to you, OK Magazine has a picture of the two women posing at a red carpet event. The magazine also stated that Page and Woodley went to launch together last week.
There is not much going on here although, Shailene Woodley hinted at her bisexuality in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter in March where she said:
“I fall in love with human beings based on who they are, not based on what they do or what sex they are.”
Ellen Page opened up earlier this year about her sexuality during a much-alked about speech at a LGBT event in Las Vegas where she stated:
“I’m here today because I am gay. And because… maybe I can make a difference. To help others have an easier and more hopeful time. Regardless, for me, I feel a personal obligation and a social responsibility.”
Still no real Shailene Woodley Ellen Page connection here, the Canadian actress was even pictured in New York getting very close to a blonde woman in May, the media even dubbed the unidentified lady, Page’s first girlfriend since coming out.
If we are to believe what OK Magazine printed, the pint-sized movie star either dumped her blonde lover for The Spectacular Now star or she is just casually dating at the moment and is not looking for anything serious.
Truth or not, OK Magazine has people talking about the two talented ladies which is never a real bad thing in Hollywood.
