Sarah Palin talks about joining The View in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
Former governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin who hit stardom during the 2008 presidential election told the publication that she believes that the television show could benefit by having a person like her on board.
Palin added that she knows that Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy were given the boot from the ABC daytime talk and is eager to take their spot.
The former Vice President nominee explained:
“I hear everyone recently got canned from “The View,” maybe a show like that needs a punch of reality and a voice of reason from America’s heartland to knock some humble sense into their scripts. You know, someone willing to go rogue.”
The controversial Republican figure who often makes appearances on FOX News went on to reveal that she would love to have her own political show.
The star of the reality series “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” explained the concept of the potential show:
“But the politics would have to be interspersed with a whole lot of fun and real life and inspiration showcasing (the) American work ethic, because those topics are all pretty much the antithesis of today’s politics, which I find incorrigibly disastrous.”
A spokesperson for ABC was contacted and asked if the network would be interested in hiring Sarah Palin.
They replied by saying that no decision has been made for the moment. Inside sources claim that Palin is not even being seriously considered.
