Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher’s baby boy has a very long list of symbolic names. Last month, actors Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher welcomed their third child, and they have picked the names Montgomery Moses Brian Baron Cohen for the baby.
Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher have a baby and are thrilled to share the happy news with their fans. On March 17th, Fisher and Cohen had two reasons to celebrate – it was St Patrick’s Day and the birth of their third child.
While it has not been confirmed, it appears that Isla Fisher gave birth in California because just days prior she was spotted with her impressive baby bump at a private party at Lucy’s El Adobe Cafe.
The Arrested Development actress and her comical husband have named the baby Montgomery Moses Brian Baron Cohen. Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher are already parents to two little girls – Elula Lottie Miriam Cohen, 4, and 7-year-old Olive Cohen.
Isla Fisher had converted to Judaism before she wed Sacha Baron Cohen in 2010 in Paris, France, and the pair is said to be very religious. This would explain the names they have picked for their children, Elula, is the Hebrew name for August, while Olive is taken from the Latin oliva and is often associated with the branch of the olive tree, which has long been regarded as a symbol of peace especially in Jewish and Muslim communities.
Isla Fisher, who is a citizen of the world, (born in Muscat, Oman to Scottish parents, raised in Australia, France, Greece, Germany and Nicaragua before settling in England), she selected Montgomery of Norman origin and it means manpower.
Brian is Fisher’s father’s name. Baron is obvious and as for Moses it is likely a reference to the biblical figure by the same name found in the Old Testament.
Mrs. Isla Fisher recently revealed that her career has been pushed back in order to focus on her family. The Wedding Crashers star said:
“Family is 100 percent my top priority. So I’m much more comfortable doing supporting roles right now. And often. They’re the most interesting. You get to be a character actress.”
She also revealed that being married to the Borat and Brüno actor is like winning the lottery. She confessed:
“Choosing to be together every day is incredibly romantic. I love marriage. I think it’s a wonderful institution and it’s the most important decision you make.Life is filled with highs and lows, and you have a best friend to share it with you. It’s amazing. It’s like winning the lottery, having a good partner.”
While she loves being a mother, Isla Fisher has revealed that her three pregnancies were a bit challenging. Few months ago while pregnant with her baby boy, she confessed:
“I gained 65 pounds with my first baby and 70 with my second.I had severe morning sickness both times, so I mostly ate supersize bowls of white pasta with loads of butter and cheese because that was the only thing that took away the nausea.”
