Rolling Stones 2015 tour announced, and some fans are angry that they will not visit their city, and others are irritated by the fact that they have decided to play in Indianapolis, Indiana. This week, the Rolling Stones revealed the dates and itinerary of their 44th tour called the Zip Code Tour, which will begin on 24 May 2015 in California and conclude in Canada.
The Rolling Stones 2015 tour dubbed the Zip Code Tour is officially happening. After a series of delays, the iconic band revealed that there will be 15 concerts during the North America leg of the Zip Code Tour.
The Rolling Stones 2015 tour will launch on the 24th of May 2015 at the Petco Park in San Diego, California, it will zig-zag through Ohio, Florida, Tennessee and Kansas.
Prior to ending the tour on July 15, 2015 in Quebec City, Canada, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts are set to perform at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indiana on Independence Day.
Moreover, this is where the drama lies and the move has angered some of Rolling Stones’ supporters. Via social media, they are blasting the group for doing a concert in the state after Governor Mike Pence signed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, which gives the right to individuals and businesses to refuse to do business with lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people.
Fans want the Rolling Stones to boycott Indiana like the indie rock band Wilco, but by the looks of things that will not happen.
