Rihanna World Cup final photos have gone viral. The music superstar partied a good bit of the night on Sunday with her German champs who crowned her their number one fan. RiRi even got to pose with the coveted golden statuette.
Rihanna could have been mistaken for a Germany native on Sunday, the way she celebrated the nation’s victory at the 2014 FIFA World Cup against a courageous Argentinean squad.
The Barbadian flashed the crowd during the game, took pictures with celebrities like Adriana Lima and David Beckham and had a lot of fun.
After the match was over, she joined German players like Miroslav Klose, Lukas Podolski, Bastian Schweinsteiger and man of the hour Mario Götze who scored the winning goal in extra time for his country, for some well deserved partying.
Rihanna has always been a sports fan but with the 2014 World Cup she took things a little further. We are used to seeing her at basketball games, but she never showed so much passion and involvement before.
Although Rihanna was deep with her German boys on Sunday, it seems she backed different teams during the month-long soccer tournament.
For instance, she showed love to the Netherlands before the semi-finals and called Colombian top scorer James Rodriguez a legend.
When France got eliminated by Germany in the quarter-finals, she had kind words for French striker Karim Benzema.
It’s safe to say that the pretty lady is a huge supporter of the beautiful game.
Rihanna may have seen quite a bit in her young life but it appears that the World Cup final was an immense source of joy for the 26-year-old who tweeted on Sunday:
“Congrats to my German boyz! This was the most epic experience of my entire life! You guys made me so proud to be here.”
The “Rude Boy” singer’s gratitude did not stop threre, she also shared the following with her fans:
“I touched the cup, held the cup, kissed the cup, took a selfie wit the cup!!! I meeeaan…… what is YO bucket list looking like bruh?”
July 13 was also a good day for another reason, her music video “Cheers (Drink to That)” hit the 100 million views mark on YouTube.
