A Randy Savage Hall of Fame tribute by his brother and good friend has moved and touched many. Over the weekend, many athletes were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2015 including the late “Macho Man” Randy Savage. Terry Gene Bollea is better known as Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage’s brother, Lanny Poffo, spoke at the ceremony and reminded the world how special the professional wrestler was.
A special Randy Savage Hall of Fame tribute has moved his fans and fellow wrestlers. It is hard to forget that deep, raspy voice and the Slim Jim ads.
However, it is even more difficult to forget those bright costumes/shades, but for those who can’t remember or did not get the chance to know the amazing “Macho Man” Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan and Lanny Poffo brought it all back.
Saturday night, SAP Center in San Jose, California was packed for the WWE 2015 Hall of Fame ceremony. Many iconic wrestlers were inducted into the Hall Of Fame, including the late “Macho Man” Randy Savage whose real name was Randy Mario Poffo.
“Macho Man” Randy Savage began his career in 1973 and retired in 2005. During the 32 long years he was with the WWF and WCW, he made fans say “Oooh yeah!” too many times to count, won 20 championships and earned the title of the greatest champion of all time.
In 2011, at the age of 58, Randy Savage died in Florida in a car crash after encountering heart issues. Hulk Hogan spoke about Randy Savage during the Hall of Fame induction and once more gave him credit for bringing “a higher level of credibility to the federation through his amazing in-ring performances and passion.”
During the “Macho Man” Randy Savage Hall of Fame tribute, Hulk Hogan said that his old friend was always intense and deep – when he was sailing, during practice and especially during performances. Hogan shared a hilarious story that occurred when they were tag team.
He explained that to make sure that he delivered an exceptional performance, Savage kept shoving him in the face. Hogan shared:
“I realized that he was making me, a better man, a better performer, I can’t explain, …. Randy would always push you way beyond to a place you were not even ready to go, he was that intense, he created that much energy, he just made you better.”
“Macho Man” Randy Savage’s brother, Lanny Poffo, also delivered an emotional yet joyous at time speech about the icon. Kevin Nash aka Diesel, Rikishi, and Arnold Schwarzenegger were also inducted into the Hall of Fame.

IT IS ABOUT TIME THAT MOCHO MAN RANDY SAVAGE WAS FINALLY HONORED, HE WAS A FABULOUS WRESTLER,IM 51 YRS OLD GREW UP WATCHING HIM AND HOGAN, ALONG WITH SO MANY OTHER WRESTLERS THAT ARENT HERE WITH US NOW.I GREW UP IN THE WRESTLING WORLD, FOLLOWED MOST EVERY WRESTLERS CAREARE THRU OUT THEIR CREARE WEATHER IT BEEN MALE/OR/FEMALE..SAD TO SAY THEIR ARE SO MANY MORE FROM BACK IN MY DAY THAT TOTALLY DESERVE TO BE JUST AS HONORED,,,I BELEIVE,,AND THIS IS JUST ME SAYING,, THAT ALL OF NOT JUST SOME OF THESE PEOPLE I MENTION SHOULD ALSO BE HONORED,,,RICKY STEAMBOAT,IVEN PUTSKI,TONY ATLES,TONY GAUREA,BLACK JACK MELAGON,WOU HU McDANIALS,RICK FRAIR,HALK HOGAN,THE ORIGINAL 4 HORSE MAN THE ANDERSON BROTHERS…ALL PLUS SO MANY MORE SO DESERVE TO BE HONORED..SO LET US ALL TRY TO REMEMBER THE ONE”S WHO PAVED THE PATH FOR ALL THESE FUTURE WRESTLERS….I LOVE THEM ALL PAST, PRESENT, HERE ALIVE, AND GONE AND REMEMBERED……TRUELY WRESTLING NUMBER 1 FAN OF ALL TIME….WANDA!!!!
