Parents sue third grade bully, story sparks a big debate. Matthew and Deveri Del Core who are the parents of a little boy named Joaquin Del Core have sued an alleged third-grade bully, his parents, the school district, and the official from Robert Frost Elementary school, for terrorizing their child. The Illinois couple who is asking for $50,000 in damages claimed the classmate kicked, punched and threatened to kill Joaquin on a daily basis. Deveri Del Core stated that she was fired from Robert Frost Elementary school after filing the complaint.
Last week Matthew and Deveri Del Core who are the parents of Joaquin Del Core visited an Illinois court house where they filed a lawsuit against the third grader from Robert Frost Elementary school who has been allegedly bullying the child for several years.
Along with the bully, the parents also sued the school district, and the principal of Robert Frost Elementary school, Jeffrey Brusso and are asking for $50,000 in damages.
Mr and Mrs Del Core claimed in the documents from Cook County Circuit Court that the boy whose initials are C and A has been beating, kicking, punching and making death threats for numerous months.
The Del Cores’ lawyer Joel Handler stated that they have brought the matter to the authorities at Robert Frost Elementary school who failed to act.
Before the parents sued their son’s alleged bully they filed numerous police reports but never received any help.

The duo spoke to a local television station and explained that the physical and emotional pain inflicted by the bully cause their son to have nightmares :
“There was everything from him choking my son and threatening to kill him, said he was going to go home and get a knife and come back and kill him,’ said Deveri Del Core. ‘My son would wake up at night screaming and crying, terrified, and did not want to go to school.”
Matthew and Deveri Del Core revealed that parents of the little attacker claimed that he has anger issues and needs professional help.
In a strange turn of events Deveri DeL Core who worked in her son’s elementary school’s cafeteria was fired few hours after the lawsuit came to light.
Robert Frost Elementary school issued a statement saying denying that DeL Core lost her job in retaliation and promised to investigate the bullying incident.
The story has gone viral and has people debating on whether the parents are right to sue the bully or should they have put their son in self defense classes so he coul stand up to his tormentor.
