Pamela Anderson added a hot picture of herself on Instagram in celebration of the fact that she has been cured of Hepatitis C. The model and actress, who contracted the illness after allegedly sharing a tattoo needle with former husband and rocker, Tommy Lee, may have spent over $100,000 to find a cure.
Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson found a brilliant way to celebrate the fact that she has been cured of Hepatitis C – post a scandalous photo (see pic below) on social media.
On Sunday, Anderson took to Instagram where she unveiled the eye-popping picture. The Blonde and Blonder and Barb Wire star is wearing nothing but her infamous tattoo sitting on a yacht using her hands to hide her enormous breasts.
The 48-year-old Canadian-American mom of two used the caption to explain that this year she is going to have a great Thanksgiving and Christmas because she is finally healthy. The blonde bombshell wrote that she is grateful for the treatment, prayers and support she received during her fight. She revealed:
“I am CURED!!! – I just found out #nomorehepc #thankyou #blessing #family #prayer #live I pray anyone living with Hep C can qualify or afford treatment. It will be more available soon. I know treatment is hard to get still…#dontlosehope #itworkedforme #thereisacure #love #happy #americanliverfoundation #celebration #Idontknowwhattodo #iwanttohelp #cannes #iloveboats #onthesea #free.”
In previous interviews, Anderson stated that she got infected with the disease in 2002 after sharing a tattoo needle with her then-husband, Tommy Lee – Mr. Lee had always denied the story. Miss Anderson stated:
“Sixteen years ago that was [presented to me] as a death sentence. I think it really worked on my self esteem. Even though I may have looked confident on the outside, I think it really was a dark cloud that lingered over me. I don’t have any liver damage and I don’t have any side effects.”
It is estimated that Anderson spent over $100k on special treatments and newly-released medications in the hopes of ridding her body of the infectious disease affecting the liver primarily. The activist shared:
“I’m living my life the way I want to but it could have eventually have caused me some problems and so it was a real blessing that I was able to get the medicine. I’m half way there. I actually just look in the mirror everyday and I feel like I’m looking younger and younger and I feel like I’m getting those 20 years back.”
Now that she is fit and healthy, Pamela Anderson has been very busy auctioning various items to save animals.
