Nick Cannon’s dating life is nonexistent at the moment. In a new interview, Cannon has revealed that after splitting from Mariah Carey, he is taking it slow, he is not dating and is focusing on his two kids.
Is Nick Cannon dating Amber Rose? The answer is no. Cannon wants the world to know that he is not dating some mysterious brunette either, despite the rumors and pictures circulating on the internet.
PEOPLE Magazine caught up with Mr Cannon as he was DJing at a 1 OAK party in Las Vegas, Tuesday night, where he was quizzed on his private life. The host of America’s Got Talent was asked if he was seeing anyone at the moment.
The workaholic explained that after ending his 6-year relationship with Mariah Carey, he is not in a rush. Mr Cannon went on to explain that several women have tried to hook up with him, but at the moment he is happily single and is focusing on his children, three-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan. The star of Real Husbands of Hollywood said:
“I’m good, man.I’m great. There are a lot of people after me right now. I gotta slow it down. I’m trying to slow it down and stay focused. Family is the first thing and my kids are most important.”
The reporter who spoke to Cannon, claimed that many sexy female clubgoers approached him in the deejay booth, but he gave them little attention. When asked to describe the type of woman he is looking for, the 34-year-old multitasker shared:
“I couldn’t even tell you right now. That’s a tough one. I haven’t thought about that one. I’m just taking it one day at a time.”
Nick Cannon went on to explain that he will be dating in the future. He said:
“Obviously the dating thing will come down the line, but right now I’m just slowing down.”
He went on to explain that he is in good terms with Mariah Carey for the sake of their kids. The entertainer revealed:
“We’ve always been people who are kinda on the go, coming and going, so their life hasn’t changed one bit. We spend holidays together, we do everything that we’re supposed to do together.”
Rumors claimed that Carey has put a gag order on Cannon and he can not talk about the divorce. Carey, who is currently on tour in Asia, has blasted her soon to be ex-husband on stage by changing the lyrics of some of her songs.
The diva allegedly said that Cannon cheated on her. A claim that the television personality has denied.
