A fight broke out near the end of a Nicki Minaj concert in Concord, CA on Friday night, and some of her fans got pepper sprayed. A video obtained by TMZ.com shows the crowd in complete panic mode after someone decided to use a canister.
According to the celebrity news website, Minaj, 32, was performing her last song when the incident occurred. The drama was preceded by an argument that lasted close to ten minutes. After a fan got pepper sprayed, the “Starships” singer brought the person on stage and said:
“Stop, stop, stop. This girl that just got sprayed with mace in her face. Come here. Bring her over here. Come here, come here, quick.”
At that point, the scene was chaotic because some concertgoers started fighting one another and security had to use pepper spray to get a better handle of the crowd. Some people needed medical attention after the incident.
Lieutenant Tim Runyon of the Concord Police Department shared:
“Aside from these few unfortunate events, the concert, and vast majority of the crowd, were not affected.”
An investigation into the matter remains open, and one 22-year-old man from Antioch, California was arrested after he attacked a security personal, according to Entertainment Tonight.
Minaj took to Instagram few hours later and said:

The Barbershop 3 actress went on to post a viral booty popping video featuring her boyfriend, Meek Mill. In the caption section, she wrote:
“I love how we spend our days off. Cheers to everyone living their lives and not being pressed.”
Some of her supporters slammed the artist for uploading something like this after what happened in the Bay Area. Minaj did not have time for the naysayers and hit back quickly:
“I don’t give a fuck. U didn’t get the memo?!?!! Life is too short to care about ppl who DONT MATTER. SCARY ASS.”
