Meri Brown catfished by a man or a woman? That is the question being asked by her fans. In a recent interview, Brown, of Sister Wives fame, confessed that she had an “affair” with a person she met online, who allegedly lied to her by stating that they were a man. However, the person has stepped out to confirm that they are indeed a man and took the opportunity to leak few embarrassing voicemails left by Brown.
Meri Brown was catfished by a person, who said they are a man, but the reality star is saying otherwise. Recently, the Sister Wives star and author did a very surprising interview where she dropped few bombshells.
Meri Brown, who is in a polygamist relationship with Kody Brown, whose other wives include Janelle, Christine and Robyn Sullivan and their seventeen total children sat down with People Magazine where she said that she cheated.
Brown claimed that she met a man on the Internet, and the pair engaged in some kind of affair where they would send each other text messages and voicemails. However, at some point, Meri Brown discovered that the man she was falling in love with was actually a woman, and she ended the relationship. Brown told People Magazine:
“During an emotional and vulnerable time earlier this year, I began speaking with someone online who turned out to be not who they said they were. I never met this person and I regret being drawn into this situation, but I hope because of it I can help others who find themselves in similar circumstances.”
Brown went on to explain that her very large family decided to stand by her and support her during the ordeal. It appears that Brown began her online romance in late 2014 or early 2015, which is the same time something drastic happened in her life.
Kody Brown took the decision to divorce Meri Brown after 20 years of legal marriage to wed his fourth wife, Robyn Brown. Not happy with the spiritual union, Meri Brown jumped on the Internet where she met a handsome, wealthy businessman from Las Vegas named Samuel Cooper aka Sam (see fake picture below).
It is believed that a lesbian woman named Jackie Overton (see picture below) from Oklahoma was pretending to be Sam, his male assistant and many other characters by changing her voice and stealing pictures on the Internet. Miss Overton has allegedly duped many lonely women on the Internet, with Brown being the most famous of them all.
However, this is where the story takes a very strange turn. A person has contacted In Touch Weekly to say that they are the man, who had the online affair with Brown.
The person shared very personal and sometimes embarrassing voicemails left by Brown where she claimed she was in love with him and confessed to being tired of her sham of a marriage. In one message, Meri Brown compared Kody Brown to Sam Cooper by stating:
“I wasn’t, I wasn’t comparing you in anyway — you know what, guess what? If I were to compare you, you would win on all counts. You win on all f–king levels. Now I’m pissed. You don’t think that — you don’t think that you’d be out? You don’t think that I think that you’re taller, better looking. Better looking, anyway. Kinder, sweeter, you care about me. You want me. You say that you’re willing to fight for me, you say all these things about love and affection and passion. So yeah, if I were to compare you, you win all the time.”
