Macklemore adds a baby girl to his little family. Rapper and activist Macklemore and his longtime girlfriend, Tricia Davis, have welcomed a baby girl last month.
Macklemore‘s baby girl has made her big debut on Instagram. Last week, Macklemore, whose real name is Ben Haggerty, was happy to indirectly announce that he is a proud father.
Macklemore and his fiancée, Tricia Davis, became parents last month and have not yet revealed what is the name of the baby. A fan named Cooper Clark met Macklemore while in Seattle, Washington and posted a photo of the new father with his baby girl strapped to his chest standing next to two little boys.
The supporter captioned the photo:
“Look who we just met! Congrats on your new baby!!!!”
Cooper also confirmed on social media that Mackelmore’s first child is a girl, but the musician’s reps have refused to comment on the story. In January, Macklemore, 31, and Davis shared a very emotional video that captured his family sitting in a doctor’s office during an ultrasound.
Tricia Davis, who has been engaged for about a year, unveiled a snapshot of her team of midwives and doula and captioned it:
“My amazing doula April and midwives Tina and Wendy…. So grateful. A few years ago when I was producing the Same Love video Tina let us film the birth and death scene at her midwifery center. We were turned down by many other clinics and people.. She opened up to the project immediately and was so gracious throughout, despite Ben not being well known. Flash forward, she will be delivering our little boy or girl.. Gearing up for the exciting day with the team today was a treat.”
Few months ago, Macklemore appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and he confirmed that after eight years of dating, he knows that Tricia Davis is the one for him. He confessed:
“My fiancée was with me when we were printing out 20 T-shirts at a time at a show with 15 people thereShe’s been with us every step of the way. She produces the music videos and is our tour manager. She’s been there since the beginning.”
