No Kardashian parking signs created by Plastic Jesus hit Los Angeles, and many are thrilled. The artist known as Plastic Jesus has nailed seven No Kardashian Parking Anytime signs all over Los Angeles and Hollywood because he is tired of America’s obsession with celebrities.
No Kardashian parking signs by Plastic Jesus erected in Los Angeles, and some people are happy about it. Plastic Jesus is not afraid of controversy, he drew a child searching a soldier, put a giant Oscar statue snorting cocaine in Hollywood and; now, he is taking on the Kardashians.
In the past days, the artist known as Plastic Jesus has nailed a total of seven No Kardashian parking signs in Los Angeles and Hollywood.
In an interview, Plastic Jesus said he came up with the No Kardashian parking signs idea because he wanted to make a statement: America is obsessed with celebrities, and that has to stop.
Plastic Jesus explained that he was inspired to make the signs after seeing a group of photographers chasing the Kardashian sisters. Mr Plastic Jesus stated:
“The Kardashian family has become ingrained in our culture.We’ve allowed mainstream media to become so profit-driven, we are sacrificing genuine news stories to satiate our vapid celebrity obsessions. I guarantee that same number of paparazzi was far greater than any number of photographers chasing real news.”
Plastic Jesus went on to say that his well-known “Stop Making Stupid People Famous” signs are not related to the Kardashians. He said:
“Stop Making Stupid People Famous’ often gets blogged as a criticism of the Kardashians. But that piece is also meant to criticize us as consumers. Without us, there would be no market for the Kardashians. We are equally, if not more so, to blame.”
Plastic Jesus blasted the consumers for making people like Kim Kardashian famous. He revealed:
“The same people who will tag these parking signs on social media are the same people who will buy In Touch at the supermarket later this week.”
No complaints have been made to the LAPD about Plastic Jesus’ No Kardashian parking signs but expect them to be removed very soon.
