Lea Michele has a new guy in her life and his name is Matthew Paetz. Michele who had a very public grieving period after the death of her ex-boyfriend Cory Monteith in July 2013 is ready to move on with her life.

The actress turned singer and her new boyfriend made their relationship official by taking a walk in a Los Angeles park few days ago. Lea Michele met her new man in April during the shooting of her “On My Way” music video.

Matthew Paetz who is 29 years old is a life coach, although he is listed as an aspirant model and actor in some corners. Last month TMZ.com reported that the blue-eyed and brown-haired young fellow used to work as a gigolo.

The celebrity website apparently found his profile on Cowboys4Angels, a service that links lonely women to appealing men in exchange of money.

Lea Michele has not yet spoken about the new love in her life but people in her close circle are doing the talking in her place. A source told US Weekly:

“It’s still very new, but they are enjoying each other’s company. Lea’s not stupid, so she’s not jumping into anything. So far, it’s an honest and happy relationship. Whatever his past may be, their current relationship is based on honesty.”

Another insider from the actress inner’s circle told PEOPLE:

“For a long time, Lea wasn’t close to even thinking about getting into a relationship. Cory’s death was and will continue to be a struggle for her. She’s doing much better now. She’s happy and she’s enjoying her life.”

Fans are split when it comes to Lea Michele’s new boyfriend. Some are happy that she has decided to give herself a little bit of happiness after having a very difficult year, others are questioning her taste in men, moving from someone with drug related issues to a male hooker.

Either way it’s her life and she should be allowed to live it how she sees fit. Real fans will always have her back no matter what.
