Lady Gaga’s wedding plans and especially her dress will not be revealed anytime soon, but that has not stopped her fiancé, Taylor Kinney, from giving tiny hints. Both Kinney and Lady Gaga claimed that the wedding will be about each other and will not be as expected.
Lady Gaga’s wedding plans are still under wrap, but Taylor Kinney, the groom-to-be, was happy to reveal that it will be all about the singer. On Valentine’s Day 2015, Lady Gaga and actor Taylor Kinney became engaged – the pair had been dating for four years. The Chicago Fire actor proposed with a stunning, and might we add, enormous heart-shaped diamond ring by Lorraine Schwartz. Almost a year later, the couple is being hush-hush about their big day – when asked when will the ceremony take place, Lady Gaga simply said she is not in a rush.
She added that she wants something very special – which means that she will not be wearing a meat dress or dead bird on her head. Gaga shared:
“It will be totally for Taylor. It’s all about my man.”
When quizzed about the venue for the wedding, Gaga shared:
“I haven’t really thought about anything specific yet. But whatever it is, it will be totally for him.”
Rumor has it, the wedding will take place over the summer in California, and Tony Bennett will be wooing the bride and groom, and some of the guests include Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and Ellen DeGeneres.
Over the weekend, Kinney attended the People’s Choice Awards where he was bombarded with questions regarding the wedding. He revealed:
“I’ll leave it up to her, that’s in her court. We keep on, back and forth on dates, and I think it’ll just be a surprise.”
The TV star, who is currently busy working on Chicago Fire‘s fourth season, with a fifth season already scheduled, said that his relationship with the flamboyant music star works because not only they love each other, they make time and support the other one. Kinney went on to say that he is very proud of Gaga’s Golden Globe nomination for her work in American Horror Story.
As the world waits for the actual event, many designers including Donna Karan, Karl Lagerfeld, and Monique Lhuillier have sketched out few stunning wedding dresses for Gaga, aka “the bride of the decade.”
While Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney are keeping their wedding a secret, they are okay with talking about their sex life. The lovers posed nude while sitting on a canvas for the cover of V Magazine‘s new issue and explained the selfie was taken after they made love. The 29-year-old entertainer said:
“I could not complete the covers of this issue without relinquishing one to an important cause. Taylor and I talk all the time about our unique existence on this earth. How can we use our creativity to heal people? Since we first met, Taylor’s been painting and drawing all over me. Years ago, when we were secretly living in San Diego and crashing on the floor of a beach shack, we never wore shoes. He told me he wanted to make love to me on a canvas. And though he made many murals on my body in the wee, small hours of our stoked, gypsy mornings with our friends, for whatever reason we never got around to it.”
She added:
“We made love on this canvas on a Sunday in Chicago. We made love amidst chaos. We talked about shootings. We made love amidst terrorism. And we talked about how people’s hearts are also suffering all over the world as they watch and witness a swell of violence. We made love amidst violence.”
