According to Kristin Cavallari, Chicago is not home. Her words may seem innocent, but they are creating a lot of drama on social media. Cavallari, 28, is married to 32-year-old NFL star Jay Cutler, who plays for the Chicago Bears. Cutler signed a 7-year-contract extension with the Bears in January 2014, worth $126,700,000. According to experts, the father of almost three is overpaid and overrated.

Cutler’s lack of achievement with the team and the huge salary he is receiving annually probably contributed to the current backlash that the couple is facing. So, how did Cavallari and her husband get there?

The former reality star recently spent six unscripted hours with ELLE’s Justine Harman. Cavallari is working on her lifestyle book, Balancing in Heels: My Journey to Health, Happiness, and Making it all Work, which will be out in March 2016.

Cavallari, who is pregnant with her third child, was discussing her family’s future when she said:

“Jay hates L.A., and Chicago’s just not home.”

Cavallari, who currently splits her time between the Windy City and Los Angeles, is hoping that her family will relocate to Nashville after the end of her hubby’s contract and “if all goes according to plan.” It is safe to say that the comments did not sit well with Chicago Bears fans, who attacked the Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County star. Some went as far as encouraging the couple to leave Illinois right away.

What is interesting in this controversy is that Jay Cutler is from Indiana, and he was always a fan of the Chicago Bears. Additionally, Kristin Cavallari lived with her mother in Illinois as a teenager.

  1. Perhaps the Cutlers don’t feel like Chicago is home because they have been set up by the lying media as targets for the Bears fails;
    1- Poor and inconsistent line play -80% to blame for sacks.
    2-No defense whatsoever ( but it must be Cutlers fault, right?)
    3-Brandon Marshall playing hurt the whole season -lowest totals in career.
    4-Poor coaching and play calling -must be Cutlers fault, right?
    5-about the only thing they got right was that he received an excessively large contract. But they wouldn’t take one if it was offered to them…or would they?
