Heidi Klum tiny strings dress made a splash at the 2014 Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Saturday night in Los Angeles. The 41-year-old looked stunning in a blue gown entirely made with tiny strings.
Heidi Klum tiny strings dress is one of the major fashion takeaways from last night’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards’ red carpet at the Nokia Theatre. Klum wore a little number that was designed by “Project Runway” Season 13 contestant Sean Kelly. Kelly is 25, he is originally from Wellington, New Zealand but now lives in Brooklyn, NY.
The German born model had a lot of fun twirling in her tiny strings dress on the red carpet with her longtime collaborator Tim Gunn. One interesting aspect with the original blue and black piece is the fact that the strings fell flat whenever she stopped spinning.
Klum’s sophisticated and fun look was completed by a Lorraine Schwartz sapphire ring with matching pendant and earrings. The “America’s Got Talent” judge who opted for a nude manicure done by Tom Bachik, wore skin-colored makeup and a simple half ponytail for the big event.
Klum and Gunn were nominated in the Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program category. The duo won the award for their work on Lifetime’s “Project Runway,” beating people like Jane Lynch for “Hollywood Game Night,” Anthony Bourdain on “The Taste” and Tom Bergeron for “Dancing with the Stars.”
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel has received numerous comments on social media sites about her blue fringed dress.
Many said that they would be twirling also in a dress like that and decided to call her a sexy blue tornado.
Few stated that the mother-of-four looked like she had entered a car wash and came out with the giant brushes as an outfit.
Several others were a bit surprised to discover how thin the “Parks and Recreation” actress is because her bones were clearly visible seeing that the one-of-a-kind creation was backless.
What do you think of Heidi Klum tiny strings dress, daring or disaster?
She looked stunning as usual. Way to go Heidi 🙂
