KKK caught sharing candy in hopes of recruiting new members. Over the weekend the Ku Klux Klan left small bags in South Carolina neighborhoods containing candy and flyers inviting residents to join the KKK. A message on the flyer stated that illegal immigrants were crossing the border to destroy America. Some African Americans and Mexican Americans who stumbled on the goodie bags on their front yards were appalled.
The KKK is using candy to get new members in South Carolina. On Sunday several residents from Upstate and Seneca woke up to find goodie bags on their front lawns.
Inside were candy canes and peppermint candies along with flyers from the KKK which contained an invitation, a message, a website and a phone number.
The message stated that illegal immigration will be America’s downfall and citizens should take action by joining the Ku Klux Klan.
There was a also a telephone number on the flyer. A local reporter from FOX dialed the number and fell on a racist voice message that said if it is not white it is not right, so join Ku Klux Klan and save our country.
The male voice went on to say be a man and stop illegal immigrants from destroying this great country.
Many minorities living in the areas where the bags were dropped were angered by the message.
Other neighbors were ashamed to see that these things are still happening in the South in 2014.
Robert Jones who is the head of the hate group in South Carolina explained that they have recruitment events like the one that took place on Sunday three times a year.
The imperial Klaliff of the movement said when they deliver bags they have no idea what color is the person who lives inside the home which is why they accidentally try to recruit the black people they used to kill in the past.
Jones said that the Klan has received over 20,000 phone calls since they started giving away goodie bags all over the country.
The KKK is planning to give out more candy bags this month.
