Keira Knightley pregnant, James Righton’s wife is carrying their first child, according to several reports. Knightley, who wed Righton in 2013, has been seen at red carpet events in looser outfits and refusing to drink alcohol.

Several sources have revealed that Keira Knightley and husband James Righton are expecting their first child. It is believed that Knightley is in the beginning of her second trimester.
Rumors of Keira Knightley’s pregnancy began on Sunday at the Moet British Independent Film Awards in London, England where she wore a strange Simone Rocha dress that seemed to reveal a baby bump.
At the event that took place at Old Billingsgate Market, Knightley, who was accompanied by Righton posed near a bottle of Moët & Chandon Champagnes, but refused to drink.
A close source to Keira Knightley and James Righton, confirmed the pregnancy news to Star Magazine, saying that while it was not planned, they are happy. The insider said:
“Keira and James are thrilled. This wasn’t planned, but that is how they wanted it. Keira and her stylist have been putting together looks that hide her growing bump.”
The 29-year-old star has apparently decided to have her baby in England, according to the source. James Righton, the co-vocalist and keyboardist for London-based band Klaxons, and Knightley were born in England.
But do not expect Keira Knightley to retire after giving birth. In a recent interview with Vogue, Mrs James Righton made it clear that she wants to be a working mother. She stated:
“Would I want to be a stay-at-home mother? No. On the other hand, you should be allowed to do that, as should men, without being sneered at.”
Along with the pregnancy news, Keira Knightley has another reason to celebrate. Earlier today, it was revealed that she has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Screen Actors Guild Awards for her role in The Imitation Game.
Knightley is up against Patricia Arquette in Boyhood, Jessica Chastain for her role in A Most Violent Year, Emma Stone for her performance in Birdman and the iconic Meryl Streep for Into the Woods.
