Katie Holmes said a Dawson’s Creek reunion might happen in the future. In a new interview, Holmes hinted that 11 years after the hit series Dawson’s Creek ended, there is a slim possibility that the cast will agree to a reunion, there are even whispers of a reboot version.
Katie Holmes has revealed that a Dawson’s Creek reunion might be happening. That sentence has to be followed by:
I don’t want to wait for our lives to be over, I want to know right now, what will it be? I don’t want to wait for our lives to be over, Will it be yes or will it be…sorry? doo doo oooh doo ooh do do ooh.
In a new interview with Gossip Cop, Katie Holmes was asked to share her thoughts on reuniting with her Dawson’s Creek‘s co-stars James Van Der Beek, Michelle Williams, Joshua Jackson and Busy Philipps.
Holmes who played Joey Potter from 1998 to 2003 in the hit teen drama said she finds the idea flattering and added:
“It’s hugely flattering. We had a great time working on it.”
Holmes who went on to become a successful actress confessed that she understands why fans of Dawson’s Creek would love to see a reunion. Tom Cruise’s ex-wife added:
“It was innocent at a time when innocence was very valued and present. But it had that teen angst that really revealed what everybody was going through…maybe we all want to feel those feelings again. I don’t know. Maybe that’s why they want a reunion.”
The statement above has many wondering, is it possible that the picturesque Capeside might be back on the little screen?
Fans are hoping that Katie Holmes’ was giving clues to a possible Dawson’s Creek reboot, not like the “semi-spinoff” from 2000 called Young Americans.
As they did with Boy Meets World and 90210, is it time for a new version of Dawson’s Creek?
According to rumors, Cruise had banned Katie Holmes from taking part in the Dawson’s Creek reunion and since getting divorce she has been calling many of the cast members hoping to work or hook up with them.
