A Kathy Ireland barefoot moment has gone viral and might be one of the highlights from the Miss America show that aired via ABC on Sunday night.
Miss New York 2014 Kira Kazantsev became Miss America 2015 on a beautiful anti-domestic violence platform that says “Love Shouldn’t Hurt,” but what has the web talking is the fact that supermodel turned supermogul Kathy Ireland went barefoot at the pageant ceremony.
Before the show started, Amy Robach interviewed judges Donald Driver, Marc Cherry and Ireland. The head judge at this year’s competition talked about how the brilliant and talented young women made it difficult to pick a winner, but all the viewers could see is the fact Ireland forgot to wear shoes.
Although Robach, Cherry and Driver were smiling, the Kathy Ireland barefoot angle was never discussed during the segment. Twitter went wild over this.

At 51, Ireland has probably seen it all in the entertainment industry, this may be one of the reasons that she decided to leave her shoes behind for the pre-show interview.
The mother of three is so confident in her skin and free that she recently revealed one of her hidden talents to the world, she can burp the alphabet.
Some of her fans say the barefoot moment is not a big deal and she always looks great, and the world should focus on something more important. Few were quick to remind those who found her behavior inappropriate that high heel shoes are not very comfortable.
Ireland’s feet appeared a bit swollen, there is a possibility that she went barefoot because of a medical situation.
