Jimmy Fallon and Donald Trump have created a video that is making headlines. Last week, Trump was a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where the politician took part in a silly interview, talked about how proud he is to be a New Yorker and revealed that Kanye West might be his VP.
An amazing appearance by Donald Trump on Jimmy Fallon‘s show has led to an unforgettable video.
On Friday night, Trump, a business mogul and best-selling author, made his very first appearance on a late night show to push his candidacy for the White House.
The reality star has been sitting down or calling in for live interviews almost three times per day on all the major cable television news networks including CNN, FOX, MSNBC and radio stations since announcing his bid to become president over the summer.
Many are still surprised that it took Mr. Trump this long to take his act to late night TV. Trump being Trump, he found ways to entertain the viewers by taking part in a funny interview where he was more or less being quizzed by himself – well it was Fallon doing an epic Trump impersonation.
Real Trump and faux Trump talked about job creation, forcing Mexico to build a wall and giving The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon its best ratings ever. Here is an exchange between the GOP frontrunner and the comedian:
“How am I going to get Mexico to build the wall?” Fallon as Trump asked and proceeded to answer his own question. “Easy: I’ll challenge them to the biggest game of Jenga ever. I’ll make them set up the board. And then when they finish, I’ll say I don’t want to play anymore.”
The two men repeated “yuge” several times, talked about how amazing they are, and how thrilled they are to be leading in the polls. The comical segment was followed by a more serious and somber sit-down and the pair, both New Yorkers, commemorated the 14th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks. Fallon asked:
“I’m a New Yorker, you’re a New Yorker; what does today mean to you?”
Trump answered:
“In a certain sense it means strength, because the way the city bounced back. I’ve never seen anything like it.There is a great strength and resilience we have in this country. We have amazing people.”
The television host asked the real estate mogul why he never apologizes for some of the wild remarks he makes. The Republican candidate explained:
“I think apologizing is a great thing, but you have to be wrong. I will absolutely apologize, sometime in the hopefully distant future, if I’m ever wrong.”
During the chit-chat, Trump stated that the email scandal will bring Hillary Clinton down and took another cheap shot at his GOP rival, Carly Fiorina, by saying:
”I think she’s a very nice woman. She’s going to have a rough time.”
Trump also admitted that Kanye West would be a great VP. Trump’s late-night tour continues with an appearance on September 22 on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
