Another day, another amazing Jimmy Fallon holiday medley that will have you rolling on the floor with laughter. This time around, Fallon teamed up with Rashida Jones, Queen Latifah, and Eric Nally, to change the lyrics of several hit songs from 2015 into funny Christmas and Thanksgiving tunes.
Jimmy Fallon brought holiday cheers using some silly tunes with familiar beats. On Thursday, aka Thanksgiving Day, a very special episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon aired, and featured some funny holiday songs made up by Fallon.
The father of one opened the installment by telling the audience that he loves Christmas/Thanksgiving songs, and he also appreciates many of the hit songs that were released in 2015, which is why he decided to merge the two musical worlds.
As Fallon was talking, former Parks and Recreation actress Rashida Jones appeared and confessed that she too is a big fan of holiday parodies. With the help of The Roots, the duo immediately broke into song and dance with a never-heard-before remix of Taylor Swift‘s “Bad Blood” with the following silly lyrics:
Cause now the turkey is all done/ the pumpkin pie was awesome/ now it’s time to take naps ‘cause/ everybody is mad stuffed.
Jones and Fallon moved on with Rihanna‘s “Bitch Better Have My Money” where they tackled stuffing this time around. Jones showed her amazing twerking moves while belting funny rhymes like:
Bitch better have my stuffing, Tell you when I’ve had enough, Bitch better have my stuffing.
Put it up that turkey’s butt/ Stove Top Top Top!
After asking the bitch for a great amount of stuffing, it was time for Silento’s “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae),” which was transformed into “Watch Me (Whip the Mashed Potato).” The star and TV host came up with an epic choreography that consisted of moving around with whisks.
The duo also delivered a unique rendition of Drake‘s “Hotline Bling,” aka “Butterball Hotline Bling,” which spoke about how fun it is to break apart the wishbone. For that performance Jones and Fallon danced around holding enormous Butterball turkeys.
It was not over, and next up was a Jimmy Fallon and Rashida Jones cover of Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars‘ “Uptown Funk,” which explained how to use the leftovers to make a turkey sandwich. The Weeknd‘s “Can’t Feel My Face” was also part of the medley and it reminded us that Jewish people are unhappy not to have Christmas. Jones sang:
I can’t celebrate cuz I’m a Jew/ I got candles, and menorahs/We’ve got Hanukkah, I guess that’s cool
