Jep Robertson was released from the hospital after having a seizure. Duck Dynasty star, Jep Robertson is said to be resting at home and feels blessed to have his family by his side.
In a brief statement issued by his representative, it has been revealed that Jep Robertson, was released from the hospital over the weekend.
The Duck Dynasty star suffered a seizure on October 19th while he was deer hunting in West Monroe, Louisiana with his brother, Willie Robertson and a group of friends.
According to reports, Jep Robertson was in the stand with his pals when he suddenly collapsed after having a seizure. Robertson was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors caring for him say that an infection might have triggered the seizure.
After one week, Jep Robertson was released from the hospital. According to Robertson’s rep, he will be going through more testing in order to find out exactly what caused the seizure.
Mr Jules Jeptha (Jep) Robertson is said to be taking medication/antibiotics in order to fight the illness. The rep went on to reveal that Phil and Kay Robertson‘s youngest son, is feeling very weak at the moment, but feels blessed to be alive.
The father of four has been very active on Twitter despite being sick. He has showed support to his niece, Sadie Robertson, who is competing on Dancing with the Stars: season 19 and has been making jokes about The Walking Dead.
Jep Robertson showed his sense of humor by comparing himself to Steven Seagal (see funny picture above) and adding:
“Just Like Steven Seagal, I’m hard to kill.”
The 36-year-old reality star, thanked his supporters for their prayers, he stated:
“Well, I about died this past Sunday…I’m doing much better now. Thanks for all the prayers!”
But Robertson has stopped tweeting since being released from the hospital, but has appeared on ABC Wednesday to talk about his health scare.
The producers of Duck Dynasty have decided to let Jep Robertson rest and are hoping that he can start filming in few weeks.
Robertson and the rest of the clan will appear on season seven of Duck Dynasty, which is set to premiere on November 19th.
