Hudgens Flaunt cover is surprising for her fans. Spring Breakers actress Vanessa Hudgens covers Flaunt magazine #136 and some say that she is unrecognizable.
Vanessa Hudgens is the face of Flaunt’s Distress Issue: Back to School, sporting ripped jeans and a white crop top.
The fitness freak shows a bit of cleavage and her amazingly toned abs in the latest issue of the fashion and culture mag. Hudgens’ hair is also slightly shorter than what her followers are used to, opting this time for a blond bob a la Taylor Swift. The slick hairdo is the result of Charlie Taylor’s hard work with help from assistant Eduardo Ponce. Beau Nelson was responsible for the makeup, while Charlie Taylor handled the manicure.
Her “distress” look was completed via a clever use of red lipstick and various pieces of jewelry. The California native is seen standing next to a motorcycle in the stunning photo that was taken by Stevie and Mada. Simone Harouche was hired as stylist for the shoot.
Flaunt is at the intersection between art and fashion, so it is not totally shocking that they decided to take the 25-year-old actress out of comfort zone. The result is pretty interesting and full of taste compared to what is done elsewhere.
Hudgens was apparently very happy with the final product, and took to Instagram on Tuesday to unveil the hot cover. The High School Musical star used the following caption:
Cover of @flauntmagazine’s #thedistressissue. I like good times chillin with motorcycles and bleached eyebrows hahaha #flauntmagazine.
The overall response was positive, although some dissident voices find that Photoshop was not needed, since miss Hudgens is in the shape of her life.
The “Say OK” singer was very busy in the last few days. On Sunday, her boyfriend of two years Austin Butler turned 23, for the occasion she posted a very touching message for him on the photo sharing website. It read:
Yesterday was the love of my life’s birthday. Happy birthday to the man with the kindest heart, beautiful soul, crazy talent and best looks I’ve ever seen. He never stops inspiring me in every aspect of life and always lifts those around him up higher. I thank god so greatly for blessing the world 23 years ago by creating Austin Butler.
On Monday, Vanessa decided to take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, nominating good friend Ashley Tisdale, after it was completed.
