Dame Helen Mirren admitted that her boob showing days are over, well, she did receive the order of chivalry of British democracy, so maybe it is time to be classy. Mrs. Mirren claimed that from now on she will only do nude scenes for her husband.
At the age of 70, Helen Mirren has decided enough with the nude scenes. In a new interview, the Prime Suspect actress revealed that she is no longer showing her famous or infamous breasts.
The British icon first went naked in 1979’s Caligula and showed her boobs nicknamed “pleasure pillows” in the 2003 comedy Calendar Girls. In 2008, the As You Like It actress made headlines when pictures surfaced of her looking hot as ever in a red bikini in Italy.
The Oscar winner’s amazing titties even earned their very own skit on SNL called “Helen Mirren’s Magical Bosom” where Nasim Pedrad asked Mirren if she could touch her chest. Pedrad discovered that Mirren’s breasts had magical powers that led her straight to titties heaven.
However, these days are over. Talking to Alan Cumming, the host of CBS’ Remember That Time, Taylor Hackford‘s wife made it clear that she is now keeping her “pleasure pillows” in her blouse. The Age of Consent star explained:
“That’s the good thing about getting older. You don’t have to do that sort of thing anymore. My pleasure pillows are purely for my husband.”
Asked if she was ever scared to appear nude, she said that she was and went on to add that these days, nudity is a common thing both in movies and TV. She confessed:
“I have, but you know, I thought, does it really matter? It seemed to be not a thing not to get your knickers in a twist over. I was doing nude scenes from the first moment I started doing movies. It was the era. I guess it’s even more so now. When I did the Caligula it was: ‘Shock, horror, XXX, only in porn cinemas’. Now, Game of Thrones at eight o’clock is everything we did in Caligula…”
Ryan Reynolds, who starred in Woman in Gold with Mirren, confirmed that she is indeed a stunning lady, who attracts both men and women. Reynolds said:
“Everybody who meets her flirts with her.I don’t care who you are — guy, girl, fat, skinny, tall, short, gay, straight — everybody flirts with Helen Mirren.”
