Felicity Jones has her very own action figure and was thrilled to reveal it to the world. Miss Jones was all giggly and proud to hold a 6-inch Jyn Erso action figure, which is featured in Rogue One.
Felicity Jones has a cool action figure and Star Wars fans will soon be able to get their hands on it.
On Sunday, a long list of stars and a very large group of fans gathered for the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story panel at Star Wars Celebration in London, England.
The event, which was moderated by Star Wars: The Force Awakens actress Gwendoline Christie, began with her asking the 4000 people in the room to take a moment to remember the 84 innocent people killed in Nice, France.
Reporters were surprised when almost all of the 4000 fans started singing or even screaming “La Marseillaise” – the national anthem of France. The few, who did not know the words, cheered and clapped.
The panel talked about the movie, shared few posters, lots of giggles, answered countless questions before Christie pulled out her personal Captain Phasma figure and bragged about how great it is to have her very own toy. She said:
“Last year I had the surreal experience of being made into a Star Wars action figure. And today I would like to welcome you to the club.”
She went on to surprise the Rogue One actress by whipping out a 6-inch Jyn Erso action figure from Hasbro. Beyond thrilled, Jones said:
“I feel very privileged to have joined the Star Wars doll universe.”
Christie decided to poke fun at Jones. She stated:
“This is actually the very first toy being revealed from Rogue One. It’s not as good as mine, but it’s great nonetheless.”
Jones responded by:
“I don’t know. She’s got a pretty cool Han Solo gun belt. Oh yeah! Inspired by Han Solo.”
The Rogue One toys will be available in early September during a “Force Friday” event.
