The 55-year-old actress has signed a record breaking contract with Bravo where she will be paid $750,000 per season to appear in the popular “Housewives” franchise.
Eileen Davidson’s salary will surely cause drama, for it was revealed that older cast members will be getting about half of what she is making.
Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, and Yolanda Foster who have been on the reality show since season one aired in 2010 got a raise and will be making $500,000 each.
As for Kim Richards who became a cast member in season three and new comer Lisa Rinna they will be cashing in $450,000 each.
The Eternity actress will be opening her home to the world and viewers will follow her, husband and former tennis star Vince Van Patten and son Jesse Thomas Van Patten in their every day lives.
While Eileen Davidson who picked up a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series earlier this year for her role on “Days of Our Lives” has not yet commented on her new gig, but insiders are talking.
The people behind the reality show believe that viewers will be interested to find out what the real Eileen Davidson is like after watching her play the sophisticated, bold and business oriented Ashley Abbott who ran Jabot Cosmetics with an iron fist for almost 32 years on “The Young and the Restless.”
Another reason Eileen Davidson was picked is because of her surprising relationship with Lisa Rinna.
According to insiders, when Davidson and Rinna co-stared in “Days of Our Lives” they had a “surprising” relationship.
