The very first picture of actor Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey has surfaced and sure has fans of Fifty Shades of Grey talking about what to expect from the highly anticipated movie based on E.L. James’ 2011 bestselling erotic romance novel. Many are surprised that there is no leather, no whips, no skin, just Dornan gazing at the camera.
Focus Features have found a very creative way to wish the thousands of fans of Fifty Shades of Grey happy birthday – they released the first picture from the forthcoming film starring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson.
Via Facebook, the company unveiled a still from the film where Jamie Dornan, or should we say Christian Grey is seen sporting a fashionable leather jacket sitting behind the steering wheels of one of his many luxury cars.
Dornan gazed at the camera intensively as if he was asking the viewer: can I take you somewhere?
The photograph was accompanied by a brief message that read: “Happy Birthday Christian Grey.”
The Irish actor recently revealed that playing the handsome billionaire has made him an expert in BDSM and is even tired of tiring women to his bed. He told the Guardian:
“There are a couple of classic knots I know now. And I’ve put them to good use far too many times recently. In fact I’d like to do a job where I don’t have to tie women to beds.”
Jamie Dornan should read the hundreds of comments posted on Facebook underneath the picture, because most of them are from women who find him handsome and would love to have him tied them to his bed and have his way with them.
Others are begging him to remove his jacket so they can see his body.
Fifty Shades of Grey which also stars Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele will arrive in theaters on February 13, 2015 and according to a source close to the production “Everyone is very happy how the movie came out and to have it in the can.”
Hope that last statement makes the few angry fans who wanted Robert Pattinson or Matthew Bomer happy.
