Disney villain’s push-ups video has gone viral. A man by the name of Blake Platt, visiting Disney World, was quick to understand that he can not do as many push-ups as Beauty and the Beast‘s villain, Gaston.
Disney villain’s push-ups clip is making waves on the internet. On a recent trip to Disney World in Florida, Blake Platt had the brilliant idea to challenge Beauty and the Beast‘s villain Gaston to a push-up contest.
Platt also made the sad mistake of filming the whole thing. In the one-minute clip posted on YouTube, Platt can be seen walking up to the small-minded and narcissistic villain, and telling him that he can do more push-ups than him.
One woman can be heard saying on the background that the victor can claim her as their winning prize. The tourist told the actor:
“You think you’re pretty strong? I think I’m stronger than you.”
Gaston did not hesitate and dropped to the floor, and started doing push-ups. Platt followed and gave it his all, but rapidly got tired.
As his challenger started weakening, Gaston decided to mock him by asking:
“It looks like he’s struggling — perhaps he needs a hand!”
The villain immediately launched into a series of rapid one-arm push-ups to further humiliate his competitor. Gaston was declared the winner after Platt crumbled, and fell flat on the ground. Platt, who had a great time meeting the villain, explained:
“If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if you challenged Gaston to a push-up contest. We were just having fun and I thought a person or two might get a chuckle out of it.When my brother and I go to the Disney parks (which we love), one of our goals every time we enter is to make someone’s day, even if it’s just one person.”
In early December, another clip featuring the Disney villain went viral. A little girl named Isabella, had a hilarious exchange with Gaston, where she told him that her favorite character in Beauty and the Beast is The Beast.
The actor stayed in character, told her to stay in the kitchen, and to stop thinking. Some found the video funny, while others claimed that the comments were sexist.
Disney villain’s push-ups clip was a nice encounter for all the people involved.
