Kalac who is accused of murdering Amber Lynn Coplin in her Port Orchard, Washington home, supposedly uploaded several pictures of the body to 4chan. The alleged murderer also shared several messages detailing the death.
Port Orchard murder photos were posted on 4chan by the alleged killer who was arrested on Wednesday night in nearby Wilsonville. According to Kitsap County Sheriff’s Deputy, Scott Wilson, David Kalac allegedly strangled his live-in girlfriend, Amber Lynn Coplin, on Tuesday at their Port Orchard home. According to NewsOxy, Kalac is 33.
The body was discovered by Coplin’s teenage son who called his father. The dad telephoned the police. But before Portland police made it to the house, photos from the Port Orchard murder crime scene were circulating on the internet. According to Oregon police:
“We have a strong reason to believe that he took those photographs after her death and put them on social media.”
The alleged murderer posted a photo of Coplin’s lifeless body with red marks around her neck on the well-known message board 4chan. He allegedly shared the following disturbing message:
“Turns out it’s way harder to strangle someone to death than it looks on the movies.”
He went on to reveal that he planned to trick the cops into killing him:
“Her son will be home from school soon. He’ll find her, then call the cops. I just wanted to share the pics before they find me. I bought a BB gun that looks realistic enough. When they come, I’ll pull it and it will be suicide by cop.I understand the doubts. Just click the … news. I have to lose my phone now.”
He later texted a friend:
“Shit is all fucked now. You’ll see me in the news. There will be no more me. ever, You’ll read about it. That’s all.”
Prior to sharing the Port Orchard murder photos online, he allegedly scrawled some chilling words around the house. According to the police, Coplin’s driver’s license was found next to her head, with the word “dead” written on it.
The alleged deranged man wrote “she killed me first” on the bedroom wall, and “bad news” on the window blinds. In the early hours of Wednesday, Coplin’s car was pulled over during a traffic stop in Portland, but he fled.
That same evening, at around 8 PM, David Michael Kalac surrendered in the town of Wilsonville. He was charged with second-degree murder.
