The case of Christopher Watts, a Colorado man currently accused of killing his entire family, seems to have taken an interesting turn.
The defense counsel for Watts now claims that photos and other potentially sensitive materials related to the case have been leaked to the public, and are speculating whether this could have been done by prosecutors themselves.
Prosecutors were quick to deny the claims, explaining that not only has nothing been leaked from their side but also that a large volume of the information that was released to media outlets actually originated from the defense side, not their own.

The case has been moving somewhat slowly following the arrest of Watts a month ago on accusations of murdering his pregnant wife, Shan’ann Watts, and daughters — Bella and Celeste.
A massive search was set up for the missing family, including many local TV stations and other media outlets.
Watts himself has not commented on his situation much after his arrest, even regarding the recent leaking incident, although not many are expecting him to make any public statements at this point.
The sensitive nature of the crimes he has been charged with likely means that his defense is extra careful about any public statements that might be used to paint him in the wrong light.
It is also possible that they are using the current incident as a means to bring some positive attention to Watts and his current predicament.

So far though, they do not seem to have had much success with that, judging by public responses.
After the attorneys filed a claim demanding that the leaking be investigated thoroughly, no on one took their request seriously as their client awaits his next court date set for November 19.
The man, who is mostly known as Chris Watts, currently sits at the Weld County Jail.
