Chrissy Teigen had another wardrobe malfunction. While attending the 2015 CFDA Awards with husband, John Legend, the slit on Teigen’s beautiful Solace London dress ripped five inches higher leaving her red-faced with embarrassment.
Model Chrissy Teigen had an epic wardrobe malfunction while attending Monday’s 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards held at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City.
The supermodel and talented chef arrived at the event accompanied by her husband, Oscar and Grammy winner John Legend, and designer Stuart Weitzman.
Mrs. Teigen looked stunning in a white Solace London gown, a pair of strappy black shoes from Stuart Weitzman, and a fancy Swarovski clutch. Along with Kim Kardashian and Julianna Margulies, Teigen was among the winners on the red carpet.
While at the event, and thank goodness there were no cameras rolling, the slit on Teigen’s gown went rogue and tore several inches – and the whole world knows that she hates wearing underwear.
Using her Swarovski clutch, Teigen was able to hide her private parts. Via Instagram, Chrissy Teigen shared a photo of her wardrobe malfunction and explained:
“Wardrobe malfunction of the highest caliber. Let’s just say the slit took it upon itself to rip 5 inches higher. Thank you @stuartweitzman for letting me be your date and for always making my feet happy and legs sexy!!! #CFDAawards (edit: do you guys know what a shadow is? Those are not nipples. I know what my nipples look like. You don’t. Well maybe you do. But those aren’t them.)”
She also posted a photo of herself with Weitzman and thanked him for being her date. She wrote:
“Thank you @stuartweitzman for letting me be your date and for always making my feet happy and legs sexy!!! #CFDAawards”
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model also suffered an embarrassing moment when she was hosting the Billboard Music Awards. Most people believe that Chrissy Teigen’s wardrobe oops are intentional, and she does all of this to get some media buzz.
Legend’s wife claimed it was due to stress, and she shared:
“There were a million things that went into that. I obviously had a show to prepare for and that carpet was not something that I exactly wanted to do in the first place because I was like, ‘I have to read this script, I’m terrified, and now I’m up here taking pictures pretending not to be terrified.’ I hear all these screaming people and it was just… listen, whatever.”
