Teigen talks kids and having the perfect husband. In a new interview with People magazine, Billboard Music Awards host Chrissy Teigen revealed that she would love to have at least three kids with John Legend in the near future.
Teigen talks kids and her passion for chaos in the latest issue of People magazine. Ahead of her hosting gig at the Billboard Music Awards with rapper Ludacris, Chrissy Teigen sat down with the publication and revealed that she is eager to have kids with husband, John Legend. Chrissy Teigen said:
“Soon!, Not super soon, but definitely. We love kids. I picture us with three or four.”
Teigen, who is currently writing a cookbook, revealed that she has no plans to have children now because of their busy schedules. The model and food blogger confessed:
“John and I go hard in everything we do.And we like a bit of chaos.”
She also opened up about her husband saying:
“It’s beautiful and fun. It’s sort of effortless – for now at least. People must think I’m lying when I talk about how good my husband is, but by all definitions he really is perfect.”
She also spoke to Billboard Magazine about the awards show. Here are some of her answers.
Have you ever experienced a major wardrobe malfunction?
Teigen:
“Oh, my God, always. Every White House Correspondents’ Dinner for the past three years I have broken my dress and can’t even zip it, so we have to leave — that’s why I’ve missed every carpet appearance. One time we had to go into Virginia to find me a new dress. Nip slips, everything — I’ve seen it all. Honestly, I don’t really care.”
What’s the fanciest wardrobe item you’ve borrowed?
Teigen:
Anything I get to wear to the Met Ball is huge. I’m not a fashion girl, so it’s cool to be dolled up and have those diamonds where they send armed guards with you. (Laughs.) I get that a lot.
How long does it take you to get ready for an awards show?
Teigen:
My team books [at least] two hours now for hair and makeup. They know there’s some lag time — obviously, we talk a lot. Everyone who does my hair and makeup is a good friend. It tends to take longer than if we were really buckling down. It’s a good solid two hours and 30 minutes — and that doesn’t include all the fittings beforehand.
