According to recent reports, R&B music star Chris Brown had been detained on Thursday by authorities after a performance in Florida because of an outstanding warrant.
For the time being, it remains unclear why the Virginia native was arrested, but rumor has it that it was because of a charge of felony battery, which dates back to April 2017. Keep in mind, he was accused of punching a photographer at a nightclub.
The “Loyal” singer’s arrest happened right after his concert at the Coral Sky Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, which is part of his Heartbreak on A Full Moon tour.
The police officers were waiting for Brown to leave the stage of his show before taking him into custody.
The singer was escorted into the police station at 11:00 p.m. and had to pay a $2,000 bond so he could be set free again.
His release allegedly happened just an hour after he was brought in. The ex-boyfriend of pop princess Rihanna announced his freedom with a new picture on Instagram.
The photo shows the shirtless entertainer performing on stage and was posted just before 2 a.m.
Brown is not new to having troubles with the law, as he was arrested in 2016 because a woman claimed he threatened her with a firearm.
After the incident, the singer was freed, and his lawyer stated that the woman’s version of the story was not accurate and her allegations were false.
Furthermore, many might still remember the crooner’s attack on the Barbados superstar back in 2009 when the two of them were dating.
After physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend he was put under probation and had to do community service.
Brown also faced a lot of drama in his relationship with Claws actress Karrueche Tran who even got a restraining order against him.
Friday night, Brown performed in Tampa without a glitch and made no mention of his situation.
