Cher at 69, does not like aging, but she is hot as ever. Do not take our word for it, via Twitter, Cher herself reminded the world that she can still wear the F out of a body hugging dress at age 69.
Cher stuns at 69 and is happy to talk about how fabulous she looks. On May 20, Cher whose real name is Cherilyn Sarkisian, turned 69 and the iconic diva was bombarded with well wishes from fans and well-known celebrities.
The diva, who was born in California, left her parents home and moved in with a friend at 17. Cher found random jobs at bars, clubs and as a dancer in Hollywood to support herself and pay for acting class.
In November 1962, Cher met Sonny Bono, who asked her to be his housekeeper, the pair eventually became lovers, and he introduced her to controversial record producer Phil Spector.
After spending years as a backup singer, Cher convinced Bono to become a duo known as Sonny & Cher, and they hit stardom with the song “I Got You Babe” in 1965. The husband-and-wife team recorded two albums.
Cher went on to have an epic solo career, and she released twenty fives studio albums, starred in dozens of movies and television shows. Cher has sold more than 100 million records worldwide and has been named one of the world’s top-selling female recording artists of all time.
For the big 6-9, Cher took some time out to chitchat with some of her fans. One of them asked her how did she feel to be 69, Cher shared the photo below and explained that she can still wear the F%ck out of a dress. She wrote:
“IF I MUST BE AS OLD AS CLOUDS, It’s Ok. I can sing, I’m Funny, have a great laugh & can wear the fk out of a dress.”
Asked about aging in Hollywood, Cher and her unique sense of humor, shared:
“It’s a bitch.I don’t like it. Anyone who says they do is lying. Or they don’t have my work.”
Cher also revealed that she does not like cakes and confessed that she stopped liking birthdays after she turned 45. As to how she keeps her incredible physique, she replied:
“I don’t eat meat and I exercise around five times a week.Getting your endorphins up is a great way to start your day and I’ve got loads of energy. If I ever try to play the age card with my trainer, she doesn’t go for it!”
She omitted to reveal that several plastic surgeries helped her keep her youthful look.

Love her or hate her ( I love her, yes I’m biased ) you can’t deny that this lady is an Icon that has made us listen, Made us look, made us watch, made us laugh, made us cry & made us think every decade since the 1960’s… She stands her ground for what she ” believes ” ( No pun intended.. well maybe a little ) in & has the conviction to back it up & in a male dominated society or world for that fact, men feel threatened by women like her ( Though few & far between ) For example men have dated & married women 20 – 30 years their junior for centuries she comes along & starts dating men 20 years her junior & people are outraged & appalled by a women behaving in such a manor..To quote Cher ” THAT SUCKS OUTLOUD ” She is an amazing person, an incredible woman that all women should be proud to look up to as a role model & she’s Cher… that’s all you really need to say… Happy Birthday Cher, may you be blessed with love health & happiness…. Have you ever seen the close ups? It’s a matter of opinion, but she’s one of those that look horrible without the quarter inch layer of make up. Long distance , ok.
She was definitely the person who gave me the strength to stand up and be myself in spite of an abusive father, step-father and ex-husband. Through her strength as a woman I was able to break free and, basically, tell them all to go to hell.

I saw her last show in Vegas on Feb 5th 2011 at the Colosseum in Caesars Palace and went to a Super Bowl party the next day and saw Green Bay beat the Steelers, it was a fun week end
Cher is a consummate entertainer and an example of what countless plastic surgeries will do for your appearance. She may look forty on the outside but she is still 69 on the inside. We all age and it is not something we should dislike. It is far better than the alternative.

Cher at 69 yrs. young? That woman looks gorgeous, sexy, and beautifull! There are some women I know that are 20 to 40yrs. younger does not look as half as radiant and sexy like how Cher looks! The old saying is very true, “age is just a number”
Wow, whoever wrote the “sort of bio” forgot to mention Sonny and Cher’s hit television entertainment series, and their numerous television appearances. I get it’s not about Sonny, but where would Cher be without him? However, we don’t know, but we do know where she is as a result. For the record, BIG Cher fan, back in the day.
Love her and she never gets old in her looks or music. She is one of a kind and all the new singers and actors have nothing on her. My daughter of 13 heard her sing for the first time and she said “Mom this lady can sing.” A new fan… Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never has looked better..
Grew up with Cher as my idol. Was lucky enough to see her live in Eugene, OR in 1989. Outdoor arena, started to rain….She said “if you guys can stand there in the rain and watch me….I sure as hell can stand here in the rain and sing for you” WHAT A CLASS ACT. Rain stopped 3 minutes later, but soaked to the skin she went on and on for 2 more hours. Been to a lot of big name concerts, but CHER will always be my favorite. She just makes me glad that I’m practically her age, gives me inspiration and a voice to keep me going!
Cher and I share the same birth date. Funny how a bunch of cosmetic procedures can make 2 people look incredibly different in age. Her bio says she’s 5’9″ and I don’t believe that’s correct. She was only a wee bit taller than Sonny and he was short. I think 5’5″ or 5’6″ is probably more accurate.

Ladies, lets face it, as we age we all need a little ‘help’ here and there(BB cream, wigs, etc), but with daily exercise and eating right you really can “turn back time” (no pun intended Cher)if you work at it.(I’ll be 60 in July and I’ve been told that I look like I’m in my 40’s). So anyways, actually “caring” about how you look is the key (the beauty fairy is not going to come along and wave her magic wand to make you look 20 again). So cheers to Cher, you go girl! And no matter how you did it, you still look amazing at 69!

My very favorite artist, went to see her in Orlando for the Dressed to Kill Tour and just Loved it. I was very lucky to get a floor seat with my partner. Cyndi was her always fun self as she came out to audience and danced with both sides of the stage. It was soooooo wonderful to see people in costumes. Cher came out & blew everyone away, to see so much energy & so awesome that she comes out on the stage just to speak to her fans, not all performers do that.
