Chelsea Handler dons a bikini to go after an ex-boyfriend, and the sexy picture has gone viral. A hot body in a mismatched swimsuit is the best kind of response to a fat-shaming former lover.
Chelsea Handler looks stunning in a low-cut bikini, the TV personality shared the photo with her 1.7m followers on Sunday. Handler used the caption to reveal that she was a victim of fat-shaming. The 40-year-old comedian wrote:
“You know, I had a boyfriend who told me my boobs were too big and that I was fat. And then, I looked in the mirror.”
Handler, who does not usually hold things back, did not give out the name of the ex-boyfriend. From 2006 to 2010, the author of My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One-Night Stands was in a serious relationship with Ted Harbert, 60, the Chairman of NBC Broadcasting. After breaking up with Harbert, the Are You There, Chelsea? actress was linked to rapper 50 Cent. Handler also dated hotelier André Balazs.
In a 2014 conversation with actress Gwyneth Paltrow, Handler explained that she was not the “marrying kind,” something her father told her when she was only 9. She stated:
“Now I’m just like, the person that’s not getting married so I like it and I think it’s a good example to not have that be part of your identity. The truth of the matter is, I don’t really know how to balance a relationship and my life. I’ve never been able to really do that.”
However, her position on marriage has nothing to do with how she feels about men. She added:
“I love men. I have men around all the time, I’m not an idiot, but you have to have somebody that brings out the best in you and I’ve never met somebody that really brings out the best in me. And I want to bring out the best in them. You don’t want it to be a one-way street.”
Handler, who had an abortion at age 16, does not see motherhood in her future. She said:
“I’m a great aunt. I don’t mind kids. [But] I don’t want one. … It’s not a good use of my time.”
