Carly Fiorina left her speech on a hotel printer and still managed to be the big winner of Fox News’ first GOP debate or Happy Hour Debate. Despite being on stage with six other candidates, well-seasoned politicians, Fiorina broke out by attacking Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump and by sharing her biography.
Carly Fiorina leaves her speech behind and kills GOP debate by calling Hillary Clinton a “liar” and questioning Donald Trump‘s conservatism.
Former business executive of AT&T and chief executive officer of Hewlett-Packard Carly Fiorina stood with Jim Gilmore, Rick Perry, Bobby Jindal, Lindsey Graham, George Pataki and Rick Santorum and tackled many topics including immigration, the Planned Parenthood controversy, Obamacare, ISIS and the economy in the first GOP debate in Ohio.
Carly Fiorina was well prepared on all topics, including President Obama and John Kerry‘s Iran Deal. Asked if she would try to repeal it, she explained:
“On day one in the Oval Office, I would make two phone calls. The first one would be to my good friend, Bibi Netanyahu, to reassure him we will stand with the State of Israel. The second will be to the supreme leader of Iran. He might not take my phone call, but he would get the message, and the message is this: Until you open every nuclear and every military facility to full, open, anytime/anywhere, for real, inspections, we are going to make it as difficult as possible for you to move money around the global financial system.”
Fiorina also blasted Mrs. Clinton by saying that she lied on Benghazi and about her e-mails and gave an excellent closing statement that had almost all media outlets claiming that she was the winner of the debate.
Just moments after the debate aired, someone discovered that Fiorina forgot her speech at the hotel, and it seems that she had memorized it all. Here is what the original speech looked like:
“We need a nominee who will throw every punch, not stumble before he even gets in the ring.In order to beat Hillary Clinton or whoever their nominee turns out to be, we have to have a nominee on our side who is going to throw every punch.”
After the debate, Carly Fiorina appeared on Hardball with Chris Matthews where she attacked the host, (she also dissed Rick Perry on CNN), and walked away like a queen.
What are your thoughts on Carly Fiorina’s breakout moment?
