Philadelphia carjacking killers may have been apprehended. Late last night Philadelphia police questioned two very young men, they believe to be the carjacking killers, who caused the death of three children and seriously injured their mother and her friend as they were selling fruits. Police had been searching for the carjackers, who fled the scene on foot. Police and the community had offered a $110,000 reward for information on the carjackers.
Could it be that the hunt for the two Philadelphia carjackers who killed three siblings is over?
According to close sources to the Philadelphia police, on Sunday two men, one African American who is 19-year-old and the other who is said to be Hispanic and is 20 years of age were interviwed in connection with the deadly carjacking that occurred on Friday.
Authorities have been interrogating the individuals, who were picked up at a home located in North Sixth Street, just few miles from the scene of the horrible crime that left three dead and three injured.
It is rumored that the duo allegedly hijacked the Toyota 4Runner, which belongs to a real estate agent, whose name has not be revealed.
The 45-year-old woman told officers that after a meeting, as she made her way to her car, she was held at gunpoint and was told to get in the back seat.
The carjackers took the corner of Allegheny and Germantown at a very high speed, which led to the vehicle blowing a tire.
The white Toyota crashed into a family who was selling fruits to raise money for their church, and the carjackers fled the scene.
Three siblings were killed during the crash.
Keiearra Williams, 15, Thomas Joseph Reed, 10 and Terrence Williams, 7, died after being struck by the speeding car.
Their mother Keisha Williams was taken to Temple University Hospital and is still in critical condition.
The mother-of-five is not aware that she has lost three of her kids.
A 65-year-old woman, who is a friend and also a member of the Mount Zion church and was helping with the fruit stand has also been hospitalized.
The owner of the SUV is at the same medical center.
Williams and her children were selling fruits in order to raise money to build a playground near the church.
