Bruce Willis’ cry on DWTS has gone viral. Bruce’s daughter, Rumer Willis, makes him cry with her amazing performances on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars. Few days ago, the proud father visited Rumer during rehearsals with dancing professional Val Chmerkovskiy, and he was forced to drop his tough guy image after his emotions got the best of him.
Bruce Willis’ cry on Dancing With The Stars has people talking. So, why did Bruce Willis cry on Dancing With The Stars? The answer to this question is very simple; the legendary movie star is really impressed by his daughter, Rumer Willis‘ run on the hit reality show.
On Monday’s episode, a clip of Bruce surprising his 26-year-old daughter during rehearsals was shown. The Unbreakable star showed up at the dance studio accompanied by his wife, English model and actress Emma Heming.
Elimination night was difficult for the Return to Sender actress, who was almost sent home, according to the Daily Mail. Rumer narrowly defeated 14-year-old The Hunger Games star, Willow Shields. The young actress was the highest scoring celebrity with her partner, Mark Ballas, and yet they were voted off. It is starting to look as if Rumer is going to reach the finale of Season 20. It is scheduled for May 19, 2015.
It is safe to say that Bruce Willis will probably cry some more when and if she ever gets there. Here is what the actor had to say this week, according to the Inquisitr:
“I’m very proud of her. The most exciting thing for me was how she looked when she got done dancing and stepped off stage. I love seeing her happy like that. She makes me cry.”
Heming had a different take on Rumer’s success on Dancing With The Stars. The mother of two believes that her stepdaughter is becoming more famous than her dad. The 36-year-old model said:
“People will come up and say, Bruce, we don’t need your autograph, we just wanna tell you that we’re Team Val and Rue.”
Rumer was touched by her father’s loving words and it probably gave her an extra push. She explained:
“It was really fun, honestly! He’s such a silly guy and to be able to have him come in when I don’t get to see him that often, come in and see what we do and see the whole process of how it all comes together and see how hard I work and what we do every week is very cool. Most people, you know, only get to see a minute and thirty seconds of an entire week of five or six hour-a-day of rehearsal and we work really hard. To have him look at me and say, ‘Wow, I am so impressed by the amount of work that you are putting in,’ is very validating.”
Success came at an enormous price for Rumer this week. She had to compete with an injury; the incident occurred after Bruce left the rehearsals. According to FOX411, Val Chmerkovskiy shared:
“It was whiplash. When you’re being tossed, your body’s going miles an hour and you’re exhausted…all you want to do is go home and rest. I should be more responsible and recognize when we’re running on empty and it’s time to call it a day. I didn’t do that. I wanted to squeeze [in] one more run-through and that was the result.”
Rumer still managed to get 37 for her jive. The shocking event probably got Bruce Willis to cry some more.
